AOW:Energy 2026: NCDMB partnership to boost African energy development

Participation of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in the upcoming AOW:Energy 2026 will advance key priorities shaping the continent’s energy future, the organizers have declared.
According to a media available to Oracle Intelligence, the participation of the Nigerian industry value retention agency at the event would renew partnership and drive Africa’s energy sector forward, “with a focus on strengthening local content, deepening regional collaboration, and expanding the role of African companies across the entire value chain.”
Building on the success of the 2025 Africa Content Forum, organizers declared excitement to continue working closely with the NCDMB to advance key priorities shaping the continent’s energy future.
Team leader at AOW;Energy, Paul Sinclair, stated that the collaboration would focus on developing pan-African local content strategies, supporting indigenous service providers, and accelerating industrial growth.
“It also aims to improve access to capital and create more project opportunities for African businesses, while promoting better alignment and implementation of energy policies across countries.
“These efforts are expected to take center stage at AOW:Energy 2026, which will serve as a key platform for turning strategy into action. The event will bring together policymakers, investors, and industry leaders committed to building a more inclusive and resilient energy sector,” he declared.
AOW:Energy 2026 is scheduled to take place in Accra in the first week of September where stakeholders are expected to convene and shape the next phase of Africa’s energy development.
