The Women in Energy Network (WIEN) has extended warm congratulations to three distinguished members who were recognized for excellence at the OGTAN Lagos Zone Annual Dinner and Awards.

President of WIEN, Mrs. Eyono Fatai-Williams, declared in her congratulatory messages that the achievements of the awardees clearly reflect the depth of leadership, innovation and expertise that women continue to bring to Nigeria’s energy and capacity-building landscape.

The awardees include Mrs. Alero Onosode who received the Soft Skills, Admin & Management Company of the Year 2025 Award on behalf of AAO-Tsalach Limited.

Mrs. Onosode is known for her strong track record in organizational development and capability building, helping companies strengthen their people, culture and performance systems. Her company, AAO-Tsalach Limited, provides training and advisory services focused on soft skills, leadership development and administrative excellence.

Mrs. Fatai-Williams stated that the award reflects the company’s consistent delivery of high-impact training programs that support workforce transformation across the industry.

Another WIEN member, Mrs. Ibiene Okeleke, accepted the Energy Training Company of the Year Award on behalf of the Energy Training Center, popularly called the ETC. She is a respected voice in human capital development within the sector and has been instrumental in driving ETC’s mission to equip energy professionals with the skills needed for a rapidly evolving industry.

Mrs. Fatai-Williams stated that the award affirms ETC’s role as a leading institution for professional development in Nigeria’s energy space. She noted that the ETC is recognized for its technical and non-technical training programs, industry certifications and capacity-building initiatives that support national workforce competitiveness.

Another WIEN member, Folake Soyanwo, was honored at the OGTAN event with the CEO of the Year Award, and WIEN pointed out that thew recognition is a testament to her exemplary leadership, strategic foresight and commitment to operational excellence.

Mrs. Fatai-Williams stated that Folake is widely regarded for her leadership style, which blends vision, discipline and strong stakeholder engagement. She added that Folake’s work has contributed to sustained growth, improved organizational performance and stronger industry partnerships.

“The award recognizes her standout contributions in elevating standards and shaping best-practice leadership within the training and energy services ecosystem,” WIEN President declared.
