A British boxer shaking the internet with stories of how his face has altered across year of his boxing career, making him square headed and taunted by strangers who do not understand his head injuries.

Linx, from Shepherd’s Bush, West London says he believes it is tissue damage from being repeatedly punched and thinks he will need surgery to return his head to its original shape.

The young man who says he has been boxing since aged five, claims he had a normal shaped head until he reached 18.

‘My cheeks swelled after repeated trauma from punches – other than that it is a mystery as no one else in my bloodline has the issue. I’ve been told only plastic surgery or botox would treat it,” he explained to his social media followers.

Linx, 23, who did not want to reveal his full name, claims his face ‘swelled up like a balloon’ after years of bare-knuckle fighting, adding that his unusual appearance means he gets stopped in the street by strangers who ask him if he’s got cancer.

‘One day I hope to get it done so I can walk down the street like a normal man also so I’m not stopped and asked if I have cancer or abscesses.’

Linx – who claims he is undefeated in his 50 bare knuckle fights – has more than three million views and followers on social media.
