Concerns rise over 4-year-old American who watched HAMAS butcher her parents
The exchange of prisoners between Israel and HAMAS terrorists is unfolding new wave of concerns after most of the hostages get home and learn that their families are either wiped out or decimated by the assailants.
Prominent concern is a four year old Israeli American girl who witnessed the brutal killing of her parents by rampaging HAMAS terrorists before she was taken away as part of the bargain chips with which the terrorists now use in restraining Israel from indiscriminate use of retaliatory force.
NBC News’ Lester Holt was told in an interview that Abigail was in her father’s arms when he was shot by a Hamas gunman. The girl then “crawled out from under her father’s body … full of his blood.
Concerns over Abigail Mor Edan are mounting not just over where the poor girl would return, but more importantly on how long she might be haunted witnessing the gory memory of her parents’ death.
Abigail is only one of the several hundred Israel children who, The Oracle Today learnt, reportedly witnessed their family members harmed, raped or killed in the brutal rampage HAMAS unleashed on Israeli settlements on October 7.
She was freed from Gaza along with 16 other hostages Sunday after seven weeks in Hamas’ captivity and relations say they hope she can return to normality.
Abigail’s parents were killed at the Kfar Aza kibbutz during the Oct. 7 attack that triggered the current Israel-Hamas war. Her older brother and sister survived by hiding in a closet.
Abigail was held hostage with a woman and her three children, and the woman took care of her “in the darkness for 50 days.” Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum, an Israeli group, said Abigail was being kept with Hagar Brodutch, 39, and her three children.
Abigail and her siblings will now be raised by their aunt, Liron, the sister of their murdered mother, and her husband, Zuli.
The Oracle Today reports that the four-day cease-fire between Hamas and Israel has been extended by two days to enable release of more hostages as Hamas is also feared to buy time to put its acts together following overwhelming Israeli response to its October 7 terrorist attack.
Hamas had killed over 12000 people in Israel and took over 240 hostages in bargain for release of Palestinians detained in Israel.
The following two month war has been paused to allow for a prisoner exchange and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
In the Gaza Strip, more than 12,000 people have been killed and over 36,000 have been wounded by Israeli forces since Oct. 7, according to the Hamas Government Media Office.
In Israel, at least 1,200 people have been killed and 6,900 others have been injured by Hamas and other Palestinian militants since Oct. 7, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
There has also been a surge in violence in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Israeli forces have killed at least 239 Palestinians in the territory since Oct. 7, according to Palestinian health authorities.
