Ibom Air moves to Uyo int’l airport hub, June 14

Ibom Air has announced that all its flight operations will be moved to the newly-completed ultra-modern terminal at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, effective June 14, 2026.

The airline disclosed the development in a travel advisory issued to passengers, describing the transition as a major step toward improving passenger experience and operational efficiency.

According to the advisory, the new terminal is equipped with modern facilities designed to provide a smoother travel experience from check-in and security screening to boarding and arrival procedures.

Passengers travelling with Ibom Air from June 14 have been advised to proceed directly to the new terminal for all departures and arrivals to avoid inconvenience.

The airline, in a notice to that effect, informed that the relocation forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance air travel services and deliver world-class standards to customers using the carrier’s network.

Ibom Air further encouraged passengers to monitor its official communication channels for additional updates and travel advisories relating to the transition.

According to the airline, the start of flight operations at the new facility is expected to boost passenger convenience while strengthening the operational capacity of the Victor Attah International Airport, one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing aviation hubs.
