Saudi Arabia and Qatar have strongly condemned Iranian missile strikes targeting several Gulf states, describing the attacks as serious violations of sovereignty and regional stability.

In a statement issued by its foreign ministry, Saudi Arabia denounced what it called “an Iranian assault and a blatant violation of the sovereignty” of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

Riyadh said it stands in full solidarity with the affected states and is ready to support any measures they take to safeguard their security.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry also condemned what it described as Iranian ballistic missiles targeting Qatari territory. Doha called the incident a “grave breach of sovereignty and a direct threat to national security,” adding that it reserves the right to respond in accordance with international law and in proportion to the attack.

Qatar reiterated that it has consistently advocated dialogue with Iran and urged an immediate halt to escalation and a return to negotiations. Officials warned that renewed strikes undermine existing bilateral understandings and risk further destabilizing the region.

Doha also condemned attacks against Kuwait, the UAE, Jordan and Bahrain, expressing support for measures to protect their security and stability.

Following the heightened tensions, the Qatari government issued an emergency advisory urging citizens, residents and migrant workers to remain indoors unless travel is necessary.

In an official statement released Saturday afternoon, authorities said the country’s internal security situation remains “fully stable and secure” despite the regional escalation following Israeli and United States strikes on Iran.

Security agencies are monitoring developments around the clock through what officials described as an integrated operational system. Authorities said relevant agencies are coordinating to ensure public safety and the uninterrupted delivery of essential services.

The Ministry of Interior urged residents to rely only on verified official sources for information and to avoid sharing unconfirmed reports or videos on social media.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Defence stated that several attempted missile attacks targeting Qatari territory were successfully intercepted before reaching their targets. Officials said the threats were neutralized in line with pre-approved security plans.

Qatar hosts a major United States military base, a key strategic facility in the region. The Gulf nation has previously faced security concerns during earlier periods of hostilities involving Iran and Israel.

The latest developments underscore the growing risk that the conflict could widen further across the Gulf, drawing additional regional players into an already volatile situation.
