DMG Nigeria Events postpones the West Africa IMT Summit & Exhibition

The highly anticipated West Africa Industrialization, Manufacturing & Trade Summit and Exhibition earlier scheduled for the middle of the month will now be held in the first quarter of 2026, the organizers have announced.

According to an update posted to expected delegates, speakers and visitors to the event, DMG Nigeria Events stated that the postponement became necessary after “very careful consideration” and “due to the region’s broader strategic considerations”

The event which is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, will now hold in March 2026, instead of the scheduled dates in October 2025. Event venue would be the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

Team Lead at DMG Nigeria Events, Ms Wemimo Yelana, stated that the company made the decision to reschedule the event to ensure a more meaningful environment for discussing critical perspectives on West Africa’s collective journey towards industrialization.

The nature of environment required to make the event happen was not specified in the statement.

“This decision was not taken lightly, as we had been eagerly preparing for the Summit and Exhibition and were looking forward to bringing together industry leaders and experts for insightful discussions and collaboration.

“Please rest assured that all current registrations and existing bookings will automatically transfer to the new dates of the premier West Africa IMT Summit & Exhibition,” the organizers stated.
