A disturbing CCTV clip circulating online has drawn fresh attention to Nigeria’s worsening security situation after armed men reportedly carried out a brazen daylight robbery at a bank premises in Niger State on Friday, March 6.
The footage shows the moment heavily armed robbers confronted a man within the bank environment and forcefully seized a bag believed to contain a large sum of money. The incident, which unfolded in broad daylight, has shocked many viewers and raised concerns about the apparent absence or inadequacy of security at the location.
Even more startling was the reaction of the victim. Instead of fleeing for safety, the man returned moments later and confronted the robbers in an attempt to recover his bag. The risky move has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many expressing a mix of admiration, disbelief and concern over the dangers involved.
