This latest honor follows NLNG’s win in 2024 and reinforces the Company’s long record of responsible tax behavior. It also builds on its 2021 award as the Most Supportive Taxpayer, when the Company was commended for helping FIRS surpass its revenue targets.

In its statement, FIRS praised NLNG for its reliability and transparency, noting that the Company’s standards continue to set a strong example for others while supporting national revenue and economic growth.

The award was received on behalf of NLNG by Anne-Marie Palmer Ikuku, Manager Corporate Communications and Public Affairs; Ibukun Oni, Head Tax Planning and Strategy; and Iwokiri Aprioku, Head Public Relations, during FIRS Day at the 2025 LCCI Lagos International Trade Fair.

NLNG’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Philip Mshelbila, said the recognition reflects the Company’s culture of responsibility and disciplined fiscal practices.
