His Eminence Ntenyin Dr. Solomon Daniel Etuk, CFR, Oku Ibom Ibibio and President General of Akwa Ibom State Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Patience Umo Eno.

Describing her as a peace-loving and virtuous woman, the monarch led members of the traditional institution in the state to the memorial service held in her honor at the All Nations Christian Center in Eket on September 26, 2025.
The Oku Ibom Ibibio praised Pastor Patience Eno’s remarkable life, service, humility, and strength, saying, “Late Patience Umo Eno was an embodiment of peace, a loving mother, and a supportive wife to the Governor.”
He reflected on the memories of her time, saying, “God, You are the One who giveth and the One who taketh.” He urged the family to come together, knowing that her legacies will endure forever, and prayed that her soul finds eternal rest.
The monarch also called on people from all walks of life to cultivate the spirit of love for one another, live in harmony, and foster a strong bond of unity in the larger community they inhabit. “Death, though inevitable, should not overshadow the enduring legacies we leave behind; rather, our impact should be a testament to the values we upheld,” he emphasized.
The memorial service was attended by Nigeria’s political leaders, wives of governors, Clergies, friends, and family members from within and outside the state. The occasion was a testament to the profound impact Pastor Patience Umo Eno had on her family, community, and the state at large. Her legacy continues to inspire unity, love, and service to others.
