Real and effectual players in the Nigerian petroleum industry will next week converge in Yeneegoa, Beyelsa State, for a debate on finding solutions and services to drive speedy delivery of projects as regulators mount increasing pressure on operating companies to boost production of petroleum liquids.

The debate platform would be the fifth Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) hosted by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), at the Nigerian Content Tower (NCT).

According to the value generation agency in the petroleum and linkage industries, about 1,000 delegates are expected at the in Yenagoa, for the biennial event which offers a unique platform to present upcoming project and enable contractors take early positions to provide necessary technology solutions and services.

According to the NCDMB, the 2025 edition of NOGOF comes as operators and new players embrace integrated production models that encompass explorations and production plus onsite processing, refining and sundry infrastructure development.

The Oracle Today reports that contractors at NOGOF 2025 are expected to encounter new opportunities across the full industry activity chain; and the NCDMB points at the new opportunities as channels of new investments, local capacity growth and increased productivity in the domestic economy.

Organizers of the event, Jake Riley Limited, declared that federal ministers, industry regulators and chief executive officers of international and indigenous operating and oil and gas service companies have been confirmed to be in attendance.

According to a statement from the Corporate Communications unit of the NCDMB, preparations have been concluded to host over 50 exhibitors including manufacturers, services providers and technology developers.

As with all past editions of NOGOF since 2017, the event will feature exclusive project fair  by operating companies, insightful panel sessions and technical workshops by some 25 industry resource persons, exhibitions of services innovations and strategic networking sessions.

Already, the line of sponsors to the event includes Chevron, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO), Coleman Wires and Cables, Renaissance Africa Energy, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), and Nigerchin Wires and Cables.

Other sponsors include Dorman Long Engineering, First E&P, Greenville LNG, Daewoo Nigeria Limited, EVOMEC Limited, Renaissance, Antan Producing Limited, Enageed, Sterling Oil Exploration and Production, and many more.

NOGOF 2025 will also feature the inaugural Champions of Nigerian Content Awards, designed to honor outstanding contributions to local content development in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

The award is scheduled for May 21, 2025 and will recognize individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing Nigerian Content in 2024, industry excellence and contributions to national economic transformation.
