The Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Area in Cross River State, Hon. Etim Asido, has urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of love, peace, and tolerance imbibed during the Ramadan fasting.
He emphasized the importance of sustaining the spirit of sacrifice, generosity, and unity beyond the festive season.
The council helmsman disclosed this in a message to mark this year’s Ramadan celebration and made available by his Chief Press Secretary Arit Ndem.
In his words, “As you celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I enjoin all Muslims to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and continue to promote harmony and goodwill in any society you find yourself,” he stated.

The Council boss reiterated his dedication to environmental sustainability in line with the state government’s agenda.
He also commended Governor Bassey Otu for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Odukpani and the entire cross River State and called for continued support for government policies aimed at fostering development across the state.
He prayed for peace, prosperity, and divine protection for cross River State Governor, the people of Odukpani and Nigeria at large.
