Newly sworn-in Anambra Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo has apologized for the unsavoury incident involving two of the guests which nearly marred his inauguration at the Government House in Awka, Thursday.

Wife of the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano allegedly confronted the seated Mrs Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the Military Governor of the defunct Eastern Region and Biafra warlord, Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, and a physical fight ensued.
Governor Soludo explained that the incident which happened during his inaugurationwas as a result of improper communication between the two parties involved.
Soludo through a statement signed by his media Coordinator, Mr. Joe Anatune said, “Steps are being taken to resolve the misunderstanding and restore the parties to their previous relationship.”

The two women involved in the drama was, however, pulled apart from further confrontation by security officers.
It was gathered that the fight ensued, when Mrs. Obiano allegedly pulled Ambassador Ojukwu by shoulder and queried her on why she decided to attend APGA event after she swore never to do that.
After pulling Mrs Ojukwu by the shoulder several times, the latter allegedly gave her a slap and pulled off her wig.

Safe for the security personnel standing by at the venue, the fisticuff would have turned bloody.
Meanwhile, in his inaugural address, Governor Soludo promised to implement “Soludo Solution” which he said would run on five pillars.
The new Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday, took oath of office and oath of allegiance, at Government House Awka.
Soludo said his Solution was a contract with Anambra people that would leverage on the 50-year development plan which he prepared under his predecessor.
According to him, all those are agenda based on his five pillars driven by the philosophy of “one Anambra, one people, agenda”.
The five pillars, according to Soludo, include: Law and order, economic transformation as Nigeria’s axis of technology and leisure, competitive and Progressive social agenda, government of rule of law and order and a rebirth of our value system.
